This aerial station is the terminal station on Atlanta's’ northeast line. It serves light rail, buses, automobiles and pedestrians on a site adjacent to the former General Motors automobile assembly plant. Concourse entry to the two level station is from both ends with centrally positioned vertical circulation to the center train platform. Through an art competition, a local artist was selected. She designed a site specific linear installation of custom designed ceramic pieces that depicted the story of multiple modes of transportation development and its routing through the communities and neighborhoods of Atlanta's metropolitan region.
